Ms. Nussdorfer
Hello! My name is Sarah Nussdorfer, and I am honored to be a kindergarten teacher at Carpenter Elementary. This is my 20th year in education, with my experiences ranging from PreK to 6th grade instructionally. I am originally from Michigan and the area, but I lived and taught in Florida for 16 years before returning to the area in 2020/21. In Florida, I was an elementary literacy coach for nine years. I have a lot of literacy, science, and differentiation experience as well as social-emotional support experience. Two years ago I completed my Breathe For Change program, which was a 200 hour Yoga Teacher and Social-Emotional Learning Facilitator training that has been designed by educators for educators. Here is a link if you would like to learn more about the program I was enrolled in: Breathe for Change
I have one son, named Keegan, who is 13, and my partner, Tim, also has a 9 year old son, named Charlie. We enjoy traveling and spending time with our family and our dog, Stella. She is a black and white Pocket Bully who has the sweetest disposition. We have a bearded dragon named Diamond and a ball python, Michonne. This summer my partner, my son, his son, and I took many trips! We also bought a new house in Hartland near our families and combined our two houses together. We are now living in the woods on nearly three acres and couldn't be happier.
Looking forward to a great year!
